Firefighters, Military Police, and SAMU teams worked together to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby businesses
A massive fire broke out on Monday night (13) at the Canaã Recycling Center, located in the Cophamil region of Cuiabá, Brazil, completely destroying the facility. The flames spread rapidly and caused multiple explosions due to the large amount of flammable materials stored at the site.

Teams from the Cuiabá Fire Department worked tirelessly to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby businesses. During the operation, firefighters also focused on cooling the walls of adjacent buildings to reduce the risk of new fires.
The Military Police, led by 10th Lieutenant Castro Almeida, secured the area and managed the crowd as dozens of residents gathered near the scene. SAMU and Fire Department rescue units were also deployed to assist.
Despite the intensity and scale of the fire, no injuries were reported. Witnesses described moments of fear as loud explosions and thick smoke filled the air. According to local reports, this is not the first time a fire has occurred at the Canaã Recycling Center.

Aerial footage captured the full extent of the destruction, showing the massive flames consuming the facility. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by local authorities.
